Hi, I’m Mandy McCasland — Bay City photographer, storyteller, and professional dog magnet.

I specialize in weddings, engagements, and portraits around Bay City, Texas and the surrounding areas, including Sargent, Matagorda, Wharton, Van Vleck, El Campo — all the way to Houston.

I’m an introvert who loves meeting new people (go figure)! Photography has always been my favorite way to connect. It gives me a reason to observe closely, laugh freely, and help people see themselves the way their favorite person sees them.

My Approach

I’m all about creating a relaxed, natural experience. No stiff posing, no “what do I do with my hands” panic. I’ll guide you through small prompts and keep things fun and easy. The best photos come from genuine emotion and movement. Laughter, wind, sand between your toes and all.

You don’t have to be a model, or even like having your picture taken! All you need to do is show up as yourself, and I’ll take care of the rest.

A Little About Me

I live in Bay City with my husband (who is also my second shooter!) and a couple cats and dogs. When I’m not editing or chasing a beautiful view, you can find me reading Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice for the billionth time or visiting with the neighborhood cats.
